The domes made to date are equipped with only one inflation unit (with constant air flow) which supplies both heating and support to the structure.

The construction of the hot air generator, specific to the pressed structure, cannot overlook the prevalent functional aspect of the machine, which is not to support the pressed structure but to heat it.
The air flow of the generator must necessarily brush the combustion chamber and the heat exchanger to be able to heat following a tortuous circuit.
Moreover the heating of the structures requires elevated airflows which are obtained by the use of energy which is certainly superior to that necessary just to support the structure.

Innovations

Starting with the inevitable limits of the current performances, it was thought to insert a supporter group especially realized to support the structure with minimum cost; in parallel the hot air generators can be more performing, i.e. planned and sized to bring the structure to the desired temperature in a short time.

Final comments

As evident from point 3 in the table with the use of the supporter there is a double advantage:

Consumption of methane gas: the heating installation is especially performing and reduces fuel consumption and therefore the cost of the heating itself;
Consumption of electricity: taking into consideration that sports activities are rarely carried out for more than 8 hours a day, the use of the supporter, even only for the 16 hours per day remaining, the consumption of electricity is halved allowing the re-absorption of the purchase price of the machine in a few months of activity, the lowering by half of the installed power, and therefore the consumption of electricity just for the support, is important for all types and sizes of the pressed structure.

The use of the supporter is therefore advisable for all the pressed structures, whether they be for sporting use (tennis, five-a-side football, swimming-pool, etc.) or different uses as there is only one effect which is saving management costs.
